If I say,I dont really enjoy the couture.... my friend would laugh so hard that spaceman from all the way down to the moon could hear him .To be honest, I wont spend 15,ooo dollars on something simply just becos bryan boy couldnt have it in capital M . (I m not counting wedding dreasses in this,thats a different pile of tree,you know I m guna have it in my own no matter whos the president of the whole universe)
When YSL (...rip...) closed his couture house, I was just at the edge of knowing how to pronounce that word correctly and frenchly.And now , he passes away I finally understand why he was not just the greatest designer but also ,for a very intriguing reason, he is the smartest,cause he told the world, peacefully and undoubtly, not everyone could wear the couture, thus, not every one could design it .
For those who still stand in between the struggling and glory, the fall/winter haute couture season has just closed. and how do we feel? The most beautiful design of the season says the most sorrow disappointment. If only the last dance was what we expected ,then why bother to attend all the boring dates? just to get through the painful ( ugly , maybe, disgusting,most probably) part and not having sex ? This is what I have in this season, everything looks just unbelievabily fabulous.meaning, too dramatic to wear/too dull to pull off.
And who is to say whats the best of couture ? I believe they all in the love of memory.
If what you gave me in couture only reminded fade-away golden age, then lets spray some fun in the party , give me something that I could suck them dry, spit then out.
