Sofia Coppola's MARIE ANTOINETTE. The director speacial selected french luxury cakes and pastries brand Laudree as exclusive pastry consultant for the film.Everything looked so delicious. However, my favorite of this paris vintage house is their infamous macarons,every single one ! Laudree is known as the inventor of the doule-decker macarons,fifteen thousand of which are sold ever day.
Louis-Ernest Laduree founded the bakery in 1862,the firm laduree setting up pastry shops on the Champs-Élysées in 1997, followed by subsidiaries in London, Geneva, Berlin and Monaco.
I've heard that Laduree is planning to open a shop in states, how wonderful is that !!
